pinterest puzzlement

am i the only one on earth slightly confused, but equally obsessed with pinterest?  i don't really get the point... well i *do* i guess. 
say, if you're planning a wedding or doing a room makeover it's a great "filing system" for all things lovely you may want to use.
...but i'm just really using it to fill up yet even more time i don't have on the darn computer.  my poor eyes struggle to keep up with the repins of some random lady's crock pot chicken recipe.  i think i need to put this bad boy down before it gets ugly.
tell me readers... what do *you* use pinterest for?
